  • Ariel Armstrong, LPC

    I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, providing Individual and family counseling. I graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where I obtained my Master of Science in Higher Education Counseling. I received my Bachelor Arts degree in West Chester University as well. I have extensive training and experience in working with serious mental illness, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and in providing solution focused care. I am most passionate about providing therapy for Adolescents and adults who are ready to set goals and work towards them, in order to live a more fulfilling life. Some of the most common topics that come up in my work are anxiety, depression, self-esteem/ Confidence, Perfectionism, past trauma, Relational concerns, Family conflict, Work problems, Career planning and stress.

  • LaNitra Jeter, ALC

    I am an Associate Licensed Therapist providing individual, couple and family counseling for those dealing with mental health and life concerns. I am a graduate of Faulkner University, where I obtained My Masters of Science in Counseling. Aside from being a therapist, I spend my time, advocating for victims rights. I promote my own self-care by listening to my favorite music, spending time with my spouse and children, and being intentional in engaging in all the things I love. I am passionate about working with adults and couples who are eager to start living their best life now, enhance their relationships and overcome challenges. Some of the common issues addressed in my work are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, Sexual Identity (LGBTQIA2S+ ally), Marital/Relational concerns, figuring out life direction, infidelity, trust issues, pre-marital counseling and parenting concerns.

  • Vondra Leonard, ALC

    I am a Master’s level clinician and a native of Birmingham, Alabama, providing counseling for adolescents and young adults (16 - 35). I am a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Psychology. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Clinal Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. I enjoy working with adolescents and women who are dealing with anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and difficult or big emotions as well as life transitions, parenting and relationship concerns. I promote my own self-care by holding tight to my faith, spending time with my family and friends, and engaging in self-care practices that bring me peace and joy.

  • Bria Hines, Master's Level Clinician

    I am a Master’s Level Clinician in the state of Alabama, specializing in care for children, teens and young adults. I attended the University of Montevallo where I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Pathology and Master of Education in Counseling. In my pursuit of continued holistic well-being, I prioritize self-care through a multifaceted approach. By meeting with my therapist regularly, I foster continued healing and find a safe space to express and process my emotions. Additionally, I cherish moments spent connecting with loved ones, finding new adventures around the world by traveling, and immersing myself in new experiences, all of which nourish my soul and contribute to my personal growth journey. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy singing and do so for people's special occasions. As your therapist, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with navigating seasons of depression and anxiety. Through my own journey, I've developed valuable skills and knowledge on how to cope with life's hardest moments, and my goal is to share these insights with you. I'm here to provide unwavering support and guidance as you navigate your own path towards healing and growth.     Dyman Webb, Clinical Intern

    Dyman is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and currently pursing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Dyman is passionate about working with women and moms who are navigating a variety of mental health and life concerns. Dyman also has unique training and lived experience working with student-athletes.

  • Annie Turner-McCain, Clinical Intern

    Annie is a graduate of Liberty University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is currently pursing her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Annie is passionate about working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, issues related to relationships, family dynamics and more. In order to protect her on mental health, Annie practices self-care by spending time with her Husband and two children.

Our Free therapy program is designed to meet the needs of more vulnerable populations and help bridge the gap in accessibility to therapy services. These services are provided by Clinical Interns who have completed all course work in the Master’s degree programs and are now completing clinical hours to finalize their degree and become licensed in the state of Alabama. These professionals undergo weekly supervision and obtain insight and assistance from fully licensed clinicians as they provide quality care. They have met all requirements and obtained all required knowledge to do clinical work in this capacity. Our intern currently has a waitlist for free therapy services.
