Oddesty K. is the Founder of Oddesty K. & Associates and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, clinically trained to help individuals dealing with mental health and life concerns. Having overcome anxiety and depression, she no stranger to the process of therapy and utilizes her education, training, expertise as well as her personal experience to ensure quality treatment for clients.
Oddesty specializes in care for women and moms, providing maternal mental health care and perinatal mental health care as well as care for young professionals and women needing to work through various experiences of trauma.
For over 10 years, Oddesty has made it her business to educate, enhance and encourage in the areas of mental health, spiritual well-being and physical fitness. With an extensive background in dealing with women’s issues throughout life, education and work, she is able to relate to women and moms on a personal and professional level, which is her calling: To enhance, encourage and empower women to live their best lives, now!
Oddesty is committed to not only providing none-judgmental, quality care to each of her clients and creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard and valued, but also to ensuring the same in all care received with Oddesty K & Associates.
Oddesty is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Psychology and a minor in Women's Studies. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with an added specialization in working with military families. Oddesty is currently a Doctoral student pursuing her PhD. in Counseling Psychology.
Aside from being a therapist, Oddesty is the mother of a toddler and knows well, the unique challenges that come along with being a parent and working to protect your mental health simultaneously. She promotes her own self-care by working out, listening to my favorite music, relying heavily on her faith and belief in God and staying connect to her support system.
Oddesty also a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200), practicing and teaching trauma informed yoga locally and virtually. She is trained in perinatal mental health treatment as well as a certified Social Emotional Learning Facilitator and a health coach.

60 Minute Therapy Appointment: $180 Per 60- Minute Session
45 Minute Therapy Appointment: $160 Per 45- Minute Session
